The Project Manager leads cross-functional technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope & budget, and meet quality standards. You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, ensuring communication, risk management, and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute projects across the full project lifecycle (planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and close-out).

• Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.

• Communicate regular status updates, milestone progress, and risks to executives and stakeholders.

• Coordinate with internal teams (business analysts, developers, QA, security, operations) and external partners/vendors.

• Facilitate change control: manage scope changes, resource changes, timeline shifts.

• Use PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) as appropriate; lead Scrum ceremonies if using Agile.

• Ensure documentation (project plans, charters, status reports, RACI, post-mortems) is maintained.

• Mentor or coordinate less-senior project staff if applicable.

• Participate in vendor management - monitor deliverables, ensure contract compliance, handle escalations.

• Identify process improvement opportunities; contribute to optimizing project delivery methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

• 5-10+ years of project management experience (depending on seniority), particularly managing technical / software / enterprise systems / cybersecurity or related domain.

• Certification preferred (PMP, Agile / Scrum, etc.).

• Strong experience with multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile / Scrum / Kanban, or hybrid).

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), ability to present to executives and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and competing priorities.

• Experience with PM tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, etc.).

• Ability to identify risks early and proactively mitigate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specific domain (e.g. cybersecurity, SaaS/PAAS, enterprise applications, government / regulated industries).

• Lean, Kanban, or continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience with vendor negotiations or third-party partnership management.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant advanced certifications.
