Is there a cost for being placed with SunSoft Online?

No. There is no charge to candidates. SunSoft Online works on your behalf to match you with great employers.

 

What types of positions are available?

We place talent in direct-hire (permanent), contract/temporary (W-2), and contract-to-hire roles across a variety of industries and skill sets. Browse current openings on our Careers page.

 

Does SunSoft Online offer benefits?


Yes. Benefits vary by assignment type and eligibility and are governed by official plan documents and applicable law.

401(k) Retirement Plan
Effective January 1, 2026, SunSoft Online offers eligible W-2 employees access to a 401(k) retirement savings planadministered through ADP. Eligibility begins after 30 days of employment, and employees may contribute through payroll deductions, subject to the plan’s terms and enrollment rules. (Employer match, if offered, will be defined in the plan documents.)

Medical / Dental / Life Insurance
We do not currently sponsor a traditional group medical, dental, or life insurance plan.

Health Coverage Support (QSEHRA – Planned for 2026)
Beginning January 1, 2026, SunSoft Online plans to offer eligible W-2 employees health coverage support through a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA). Under a QSEHRA, employees choose their own individual health plan (including ACA/Marketplace plans, if desired) and may request reimbursement for eligible medical expenses (including premiums) up to a monthly allowance, subject to plan rules and required documentation. This benefit may affect eligibility for ACA Marketplace premium tax credits.

 

What is the job placement process?

  1. Apply or share your resume for suitable roles.
  2. Screen & interview with our team so we understand your goals and experience.
  3. Client submission & interview prep for matching opportunities.
  4. Offer & onboarding (documents, background checks if required).
  5. Start & support with check-ins during your assignment or first 90 days in a permanent role.

 

What should I do after I’ve applied?

We’ll contact you when there’s a match. In the meantime, you can keep an eye on new openings on the Careers page and update your profile/resume with recent skills.

 

Does SunSoft Online continue to support me after I start?

Yes. For contract (W-2) assignments, your on-site supervisor handles day-to-day work questions while SunSoft supports HR questions. For direct-hire placements, we check in during your first 90 days and then your employer’s HR team becomes your primary contact.

 

What do I do when I finish an assignment?

Let your SunSoft representative know your end date and availability. We’ll work with you to identify your next opportunity.

 

How does SunSoft Online protect my personal information?

We use secure systems and access controls to protect sensitive data and maintain confidentiality. Only authorized personnel see your information as needed for recruiting and onboarding.

 

What should I bring on my first day of an assignment?

Review the job description and any client onboarding instructions in your offer/onboarding email. Bring a government-issued ID and any other documents requested (e.g., I-9 documents).

 

When do I get paid?

W-2 salaried employees and 1099 contractors are paid every two weeks. C2C vendors are paid monthly. All payments are via direct deposit. Timing can vary by client; your assignment letter has the specifics.

 

What if I need to cancel or can’t attend an assignment?

Contact your SunSoft representative immediately so we can notify the client and coordinate next steps.

 

How do I refer someone to SunSoft Online?

We love referrals and offer bonuses on eligible placements. Ask your representative or visit our Referral page for details.
