This position is worked remote during the pandemic with occasional requests to go onsite. Anyone submitted must be willing to go onsite when requested. When the office returns to working onsite the resource must be willing to work onsite 100%.
This position would be responsible for the configuration of iPads, Deploying iPads, work with the vendor and staff in the implementation of Electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) System. This application, ePCR, will be used by first responders to help treat and document the treatment of emergency medical patient care.
The primary job duties of this position would include the following:
• Support mission critical cloud-based applications 7x24, 365.Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of critical cloud-based applications. • Be on-call (potentially nights, weekends, and holidays) to coordinate solutions for system support incidents that require immediate action. Provide point of escalation (Tier 2) for issues related to application support. • Provide documentation and establish support processes. • Part of team of evaluating and implementing new application features and system upgrades. • Provide recommendation to IT management for application security improvements or enhancements. • Manage software licenses and provide recommendations for cost savings. • Lead testing of system upgrades and new deployments. • Perform daily system checks, monitoring and respond to trouble tickets. • Work with contracted vendors to order, install, troubleshoot and fix hardware and software related problems.
Qualifications for Application Administrator
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required • Significant experience with cloud-based application administration or system administration • Significant experience with Microsoft Office 365 • Experience with scripting and automation tools • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans • Excellent communication skills • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
