The Contracts Specialist II will support the City Clerk Department with procurement and contract administration. This role requires strong knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and construction design procurements. The position is 100% onsite in Phoenix (Mon–Fri).
Key Responsibilities
Create and process complex design and construction procurements.
Apply knowledge of general contracts and procurement processes (Title 34 procurements preferred).
Collaborate with teams using a combination of education and progressive experience.
Work from office, Monday–Friday, supporting procurement operations.
Utilize eProcurement portals (OpenGov, Bonfire, Public Purchase, etc.).
Conduct public speaking and presentations when required.
Manage construction design procurements as needed.
Requirements
Education: Associate’s Degree minimum.
Experience: Progressive experience in contracts/procurement (government/public sector experience a plus).
Security: Must pass required checks.
Local Only: Candidate must be local to Phoenix, AZ at the time of submission.
