Overview:
The Procurement Analyst ensures the procurement of IT-related goods and services aligns with the best interests of the state. This role involves evaluating IT vendors and managing procurement contracts, including Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain organized and accurate records, databases, and supplier workbooks.
Required Skills:
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet time-driven deadlines.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, supply chain management, or a related business field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of IT procurement experience or 3+ years without a business degree.
Strong experience in procurement of IT products/services, negotiation, and contract management.
