A project manager is needed for a project led by Arizona’s Medicaid agency, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
The agency is working to build a new Transitional Housing Facility in downtown Phoenix for AHCCCS members experiencing homelessness. The new and innovative housing facility will have both a housing shelter and a co-located health care clinic on-site.
A project manager is needed to manage cross agency teams including tracking project tasks, deadlines, and requirements to keep the project moving forward.
The project manager will be in regular communication with AHCCCS leaders as well as the building’s service providers, who consist of a conglomeration of a local health care organization and a local homeless shelter provider.
The project manager will also interface with the organizations responsible for construction and design of the building; however they will not be responsible for direct construction project management.
The project manager will facilitate regular meetings between AHCCCS, the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), the Arizona State Hospital (ASH), and the building’s service providers.
This project will have a meaningful impact on people experiencing homelessness in our state.
