Requisition #725   The Cloud Engineer is responsible for being the technical lead for the day-to-day support of the infrastructure & cloud platforms hosted by the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology Cloud Operations team. The role will also have a strong working relationship with both internal and external Statewide technical teams and vendors who provide managed services for data center infrastructure, telco, enterprise network connectivity, cloud management, service management operations & information security.   Skills Required  Strong verbal and written communication; Cloud orchestration tools, 2-3 years of experience with developing, running, and maintaining scripts. (PowerShell, CLI, JSON, Python, Bash), ITIL Services best practices, Managing Cloud Solutions, Cloud Identity Management, experience with MSSQL and Monitoring tool platforms.

 

Experience Required  Day to day support for IaaS and PaaS infrastructures hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platforms. Build and manage a Statewide Cloud Management platform. Maintain and monitor all on-premise and cloud infrastructures (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, MS Azure, Google). Maintain and build scripts to manage cloud infrastructures and server instances via Infrastructure as Code and Automation Orchestration tools. Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.   Experience Preferred  Maintain and build scripts to manage cloud infrastructures and server instances via Infrastructure as Code and Automation Orchestration tools. Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.   Education Required  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or other IT related discipline, or 4+ years of System administration support 3+ years programming experience with scripting languages. 3+ years of Github and or Azure Devops   Education Preferred  Possession of at least one technical or cloud vendor certification such as: AWS Certifications (Associate Level – Architect, Developer, System Administrator or Professional Levels)  Microsoft Azure Certifications in Associate level - Administration or Architect or Professional
