Roles & Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for answering and handling general information calls to the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board.
  • Call types include licensing, payment, and compliance questions.
  • This position will also be responsible for reviewing and entering information into the board's database systems.

Skills Required

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Communicating effectively while actively listening to others
  • Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems
  • Typing at least 45 words per minute
  • Critical thinking and reasoning
  • Applying world-class customer service techniques
  • Responding to customer service complaints/problems
  • Problem resolution

Experience Required

  • Experience in a call center environment with time constraints and high call volumes.
  • Perform phone interviews while simultaneously inputting information into a database.
  • Google suite
  • Communicating with business English to include proper sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.

Education Required - Minimum high school diploma or Equivalency.
