• Temporary six-month contract to assist with method development, method optimization, and validation of analytical Toxicology methods. Standard and sample preparation using an automated liquid handler.
• Sample analysis on Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatography - Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Liquid Chromatography - High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS).
• Data reprocess all data coming off of instrumentation.
• Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the methods being brought online.
• Write up validation plans, input data into excel, and write up validation reports.

Skills Required

Pipetting. Troubleshooting. Experience with Agilent Liquid Chromatography - Sciex Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Thermo Gas Chromatography - Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Thermo Liquid Chromatography - High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) analytical instrumentation. Experience with SciexOS, Tracefinder, Xcalibur, FreeStyle, and Chromeleon software. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.

Experience Required

3-5 years of experience working in an analytical chemistry environment. Prior experience troubleshooting and operating analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, GC-QQQ, LC-HRMS, etc.). Prior method development and method validation experience.

Education Required

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or Biology with at least 6 courses in Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry or Physical Chemistry).
