ADOA-ASET develops and executes the statewide IT strategy for Arizona state government and provides IT infrastructure and services to state agencies to ensure continuity of mission critical and essential systems. ASET is managed by Arizona’s State CIO and serves as an information technology leader for AZ government.
ASET’s Enterprise Program and Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management services that align to Arizona’s Strategic IT Plan and embrace cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cyber-security, digitization, enterprise wide applications and managed partnerships. This passionate and highly skilled Project Management team is committed to successful project execution and superior customer service.
Looking for a self starting professional and positive energetic candidate who can jump in with both feet and take over some of the IT projects that our EPMO is running.
Job DutiesServes as project champion embracing and articulating project goals, objectives and outcomesResponsible for managing project success and driving the project team Manages the entire project life cycle from discovery through lessons learnedFacilitates team/stakeholder interactions, meetings and communicationsWorks with project resources, including procurement and vendor, to assure project healthUnderstands, monitors and reports on project tasks, milestones and deliverablesDevelops business cases, charters, plans, schedules, communications, SOWs, RAID logs, etc. Work with project teams to define and develop requirements or stories/sprints/backlogsBalances priorities among multiple projects/sub-projectsReports project status/issues/risks/metrics to senior management and oversight councils
