Roles & Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, the position will assure compliance with Federal and State grant requirements, verify documentation, and assist with reporting of accomplishments.
  • The position will be responsible for grant management, communication with vendor/sub-grantee, data collection, and project tracking.
  • Other duties include maintaining and preparing financial or project documents and collecting critical information needed to account for funding purposes.
  • 20% - Assure compliance with Federal and State grant requirements, verify documentation, and assist with reporting of accomplishments.
  • 40% - Grant management, communication with vendor/sub-grantee, data collection, project tracking, and grant reimbursement review and processing.
  • 25% - Maintaining and preparing financial or project documents and collecting critical information needed to account for funding purposes.
  • 10% - Regularly report progression and project status to DFFM management.
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned as related to the position

Experience Required

  1. Grants and agreement management
  2. Detailed and organized, able to process and maintain accuracy on several grants at once.
  3. Communication of technical information and instruction in simple written or oral terms.

Experience Preferred

  1. Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and policies as they pertain to grants
  2. Adapt to changing environments and new techniques.
  3. Plan and organize work efficiently.
  4. Grants and Project Management experience relating to forestry or natural resource management.

Education Preferred - Four year degree from accredited institution.
