Roles & Responsibilities
With direction from a Fiscal Supervisor this position has primary responsibility for all forecasting, analysis, federal reporting, and monitoring of assigned programs. This includes preparing a variety of fiscal and operating reports that may involve detailed analysis of financial outlooks, spending trends, staffing levels, and other comprehensive analyses. Identifies, researches, and analyzes possible impacts of proposed legislation and funding modification, and prepares formal bill analyses, as well as cost benefit and break-even analyses.
This position provides financial expertise to Division and programmatic leadership on financial budget matters pertaining to assigned programs, including budget, cash management, reconciliation, compliance with state and federal regulations, federal reports, forecasts, and monitoring for assigned programs. The Department of Economic Security, Division of Community Assistance and Development (DCAD) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst.
