The core responsibilities of a solutions architect focus on supporting the tactical implementation of systems and applications. The output of these activities is the solution architecture for a given problem. Solutions architects may also play a role in defining technology strategies, informed by their involvement in individual initiatives. Solutions architects can offer valuable hands-on experience that complements the work of strategy development, which is generally the responsibility of enterprise architects. Experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines — e.g., technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development - Advanced - 5 Required
Must be able to understand key business drivers, strategy, and problems to be solved by a given solution - Advanced - 5 Required
Must be able to create innovative solutions for initiatives that support enterprise architecture - Advanced - 5 Required
Experience with environments with internally developed applications - Advanced - 5
Experience with sensitive regulated data (PII, PHI, FTI, CJIS, etc.) - Advanced - 5
Experience with solutions that integrate with Gov Cloud offerings - Advanced - 5
Experience in using Security Assessment and Risk Assessment framework - Advanced - 5
Experience in an enterprise environment with at least 10,000 employees - Advanced - 5
Must be able to assess current and future solutions and requirements to support product or vendor selection - Advanced - 5 -
