ADOA-ASET develops and executes the statewide IT strategy for Arizona state government and provides IT services and infrastructure to state agencies to ensure continuity of mission critical and essential systems. ASET’s Enterprise Program and Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management services to ASET business units and state agency customers.The IT Project Coordinator Position reports to ASET’s EPMO Manager. EPMO Projects involve infrastructure, open systems, networking, digital government, telecommunications, business engineering, strategic initiatives, application development, managed services, etc. ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers in project management of multiple projects/teamsCoordinate/facilitate meetings and prepare meeting minutesTrack and update Project SchedulesCreate and present PowerPoint presentationsAssist EPMO Manager with tasks to manage and coordinate operational activities of the EPMODevelop/present reports, metrics and other Team activities including trainingDevelop, track and organize documentation Perform analysis and Information/data management Document processes in writingCoordinate activities in support of IT portfolios, programs, projects, and personnel Maintain project dashboards in our EPMO tool (Smartsheet)Communicate with multiple stakeholders, each with different reporting requirements RequirementsAssociates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience4+ years of work experience3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or similar position Strong verbal/written communication and facilitation skillsStrong follow through, attention to detail and organization skills Personable with customer service and team coordination skillsAble to work independently, take initiative and solve problemsSolid time-management and ability to multitaskStrong in Sheet and Excel or equivalentSolid understanding of Information Technology terminology & processes Experience with file sharing systems and internet searchingFamiliarity with Project and Portfolio Management and related tools
