The position will always be remote. There may be a need for them to pick up equipment but we can accommodate if they don't want to do that.
Description
Project Manager for AZDEQ Business Intelligence Team. The Project Manager will be required to work with multiple teams to complete projects related to the creation and management of operational performance metrics. This includes organizing and running meetings, tracking project plan, monitoring project progress and communicating progress, as well as gathering and documenting business requirements.
Responsibilities
• Development and management of detailed project schedules and work plans
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Conducts meetings with program sponsors to gather business requirements and metric methodologies
• Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
• Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely document requirements specifications
• Manages and tracks the status of project throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of project management and related experience
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
