Position will be remote for time being but when we return to the office, resource will have to work in the office. So, a local candidate is preferred.

The Senior Applications Developer (SAD) will work with our internal and vendor Salesforce implementation team as well as product managers to develop, enhance and streamline our Salesforce systems. This position is responsible for managing and customizing all technical aspects of Salesforce and will collaborate with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to determine requirements and translate them into business needs in order to design, configure, test and deploy effective tools within Salesforce and integrate with Azure cloud and other ancillary applications of the state through Mulesoft.

Develop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrations. Work closely with technical product managers, scrum masters, and solution architecture team to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment. Conduct code reviews. Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application.

Evaluate Salesforce App Exchange Products and conduct proof of concept. Create technical documentation related to Salesforce applications. Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines. 

Clarify capabilities of the State’s technology infrastructure and provide information in response to IM Contractor inquiries related to data mapping, data conversion and migration requirements, and ADES policies and procedures. Provide data dictionaries, application information (coded fields, combinations of codes, history of changes), and business rules that affect data conversion or migration.

Assist the IM Contractor with clean-up of data to be migrated in accordance with the IM Contractor’s detailed instructions, and assists the IM Contractor with resolution of Data Conversion and Migration issues. Provide clarification of requirements, contribute to the detailed technical design decisions and respond to IM Contractor inquiries related to requirements, business rules, and program policies and procedures. Develop code, during the transition period, in collaboration with the IM Contractor, as dictated by ADES. 

Participate in System Test activities like build and test automation and provide necessary assistane to automate all kinds of testing including functional, regression, performance and security.

Participating in the development of the Implementation Plans, reviewing and providing feedback on the Implementation Reports. Provide First-level Help Desk support when the System is fully Implemented and Operational and training is complete, as well as System support when the System is fully Implemented and Operational and training is complete. Coordinate activities with partner agencies, implementing and supporting the updated business processes that support the ATLAS Replacement System. Assist with Certification process. Conduct Meetings Deliver DTS specific reports and artifacts AS part of the ATLAS Modernization team, support teams in planning, sizing, prioritizing project activities. Recommend the right technical solutions based upon documentable facts.
