The Project Manager creates and executes project work plans for IT projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the organization. The Project Manager will directly interface with Its internal customers. Essential responsibilities include:• Follows a defined project management methodology, accountable for the detailed planning of steps and resources needed to meet objectives.• Manages multiple and medium to large capital and non-capital projects simultaneously.• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.• Effectively applies IT methodology and enforces project standards.• Ensures that in-flights reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all projects.• Minimizes IT exposure and risk on projects.• Solves conflicts and issues in a timely manner, escalating to manager as appropriate.• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.• Manages project budget.• Ensures quality control for all projects.• Effectively communicates relevant project information to leadership.• Helps define business analysis requirements and specifications.• Helps Develop workflows, use cases, data flows, process flows, report specs• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.• Reports on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations.• Works with users to define and document application or process problems.
Qualifications and Education Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination and management General working knowledge of practical aspects of project management Previous experience managing custom software development and COTS implementation projects Ability to balance project management process with rapid delivery of benefit to the customer Experience with maintaining project schedules and budgets. Strong customer focus Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Problem solving skills Skilled in the creation of project related documents, including but not limited to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, business cases, research findings and detailed statements of work. Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations Demonstrated ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organizationPreferred Skills Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Scrummaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum and Agile experience
