6 month contract to hireJob SummaryThe System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Admin is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the SCCM system. The SCCM system is a deployment tool utilized for deployment of PC images and the ongoing deployment of system patches for PC's and Servers to ensure compliance. The employee in this position will also work to mature the SCCM process and keep the system maintained at current release levels. This role requires an ITIL background and experience in system administration as well as a customer service focus. The employee in this position will also cross train with other tool administrators to ensure continuity of operations across the utilized toolset.

Major Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsAdministration, via development and maintenance, the SCCM Tool. Develop and maintain upgrade and maintenance plans and procedures, coordinate with support team and customer functions regarding plans and requirements; Continually improve the SCCM System workflow for system tenants and customers. Apply system analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Identify, develop and drive process improvement solutions to increase accuracy, compliance, efficiency, timeliness and improved customer service. Effectively communicate with customers to define process improvement initiatives. Serve as a technical resource for process implementation and management within the SCCM tool including the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of that system based on and related to user or system design specifications. Design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of the SCCM computer program as it relates to machine operating systems and collaborate with administrators of other tools and crosstrain to maintain continuity of operations across toolsets. Ensure that all assets in service are accurately identified and interrogated to the depth required to support the integrity of the CMDB and related ITSM processes. Assists in the support for theautomated discovery of HW and SW assets across the enterprise
