This position will report to the Chief Operations Manager/Facilities Project Manager in the DDD Business Operations Unit and manages various projects for the unit's assignments, and tasks, and creates new processes for implementation approval from the COM.

Responsibilities include tracking and reporting of facilities projects which require routine site visits to local offices, asset management tracking, and reporting, and statewide inventory of DDD surplus. Additionally, this position is responsible for tracking DTS wireless coordination service tickets for wireless devices; analysis; verifying and providing monthly wireless data to each district, creating processes and services for both purchases of personal computers (PC) and wireless devices, and the termination of wireless phone services. Maintains division laptop and PC inventory, including assigning, allocating, and distributing new personal computers and laptops to division staff. This Operations specialist will track fuel, mileage, and maintenance of all fleet vehicles within DDD; works closely with the division fleet liaison in tracking issues, concerns, and vehicle assignments including consulting DES fleet on all matters.

The position will assemble, train and prepare Division's emergency response team that will participate with local, state, and federal responders. Prepare recommendations and summaries based on the research conducted, including a Business Analysis for essential functions and systems backups for communications, facilities, payroll, business operations, post of duty, and Information Technology (IT) and member data. Performs other duties as assigned.   

Skills Required   

Strong communication and business project management skills for reporting. Prioritizes accountability along with a strong team-oriented drive to complete tasks. Competent to utilize various software and programs (Microsoft, State-related programs), etc.
