We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to join the web application development team. The ideal candidate is organized with exceptional analytical skills. You will be working with staff from Air, Water and Waste divisions, documenting and communicating requirements for developing web based tools, testing and ensuring requirements and standards are met, and keeping stakeholders informed of project status updates.
Job Purpose/Background:
This person will be collaborating with environmental subject matter experts and software developers to build web application tools for both customers and employees to ultimately support the agency’s mission to protect and enhance public health and the environment in Arizona.

Skills/Technology:
Jira Software, Google Suite, SQL, Miro, Adobe XD / Figma.
Key Responsibilities:
Documenting and communicating business requirements
Collaborating with members of the broader team on designing web-based solutions
Act as liaison between business and technical teams
Testing, raising defects, ensuring and demoing that user acceptance criteria is met
Analyzing and supporting with problem solving/process improvement recommendations
Developing project plans and maintaining performance metrics
Informing stakeholders of project status updates
Knowledge/Experience:
Must
Strong teamwork and attention to detail, documentation/communication skills and time management abilities
AGILE and SCRUM knowledge
Web application and database design experience
Sketching concepts, wireframing is an added plus.
