Lean Coach The Lean Coach will report to the Office of Continuous Improvement and will be responsible for supporting the continued application of the Arizona Management System (AMS) across the agency. The Coach will work with multiple stakeholders to drive process improvement across the organization. They lead and mentor Lean projects, work with management to prioritize projects, define business needs and implement innovative solutions. The Lean Coach trains, coaches and mentors others at all organizational levels to apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to improve business processes and achieve Continuous Improvement objectives. Must have demonstrated Lean or Process Improvement Implementation experience. Responsibilities: • Participate in and facilitate projects resulting in process improvements and waste reduction. • Assist in identification, prioritization and selection of potential projects in all functional areas of the agency to optimize existing processes for waste reduction and cost control. • Facilitate project team meetings and provide guidance and support to Project Team Leaders. • Work with teams to identify problems, analyze information and develop and implement process solutions. • Identify barriers to success and solicit help from leadership as and when needed. • Routinely interact with colleagues and project leaders to ensure that projects are on track. • Report to OCI Team and Management as required on progress of projects. • Assist in facilitating and conducting training of colleagues and team members in Lean Tools and Methodologies (Standard Work, Kaizen and Problem-Solving).

Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Operations Management, Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. • At least three years of relevant Agency or project management experience preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Experience applying lean in office or service environments. • Experience leading Kaizen events or team-based problem solving events.
